Parhon" Institute for Endocrine Diseases and The "Panait Sarbu" Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital are the first medical units in Romania to close the crematory within their perimeter. For the Romanian healthcare system, closing down the crematory units within the perimeter of hospitals and clinics means renouncing the inadequate installations used so far for the incineration of the medical residues.
